Bucks County is located in south eastern Pennsylvania. Upper Bucks is known for its rolling hills and farmland. The quaintness of the central section with many bed and breakfast type inns makes it a great area for the antique collector. While Lower Bucks is more urban and closer to the east coast sprawl, it has many historic sites. This also marks the top of the Atlantic tide and the end of the line for large ocean going freighters. There are 54 municipalities in Bucks County. The boroughs are basically the small towns that were established in years past. They are self governing and are surrounded by the more rural townships. However, the townships in lower Bucks are no longer rural. But whether you are in lower, central or upper Bucks there is truly a picture around every corner. See the links to the right.
