Nockamixon State Park is a great place for bird watching. Although we didn't see any bald eagles the day these pictures were taken, the park and the surrounding area does offer an excellent habitat for these large birds making a comeback.
The boat launch area on the south side of the lake may be less crowded then the other areas.
Sometimes it is just as much fun watching someone else fish (or falling out of a canoe) as it is doing it yourself.
There is also a pool at Nockamixon State Park.
