New Hope bustles with activity year round, but on those first warm days in spring, when Mother Nature finally lets us out, people flock to New Hope  to shake off the winter blues and celebrate with streetside libations.
New Hope a great place to shop, see a show, have a cocktail or just walk around.
But be ready with lots of quarters and lots of patience if you're looking to park on the street, but there  are plenty of parking lots  if you want pay a couple of more dollars and stay all day.

The Delaware Canal passes right through the center of New Hope. This red bridge just south of town is typical of many bridges used to cross the canal along its entire length.
Although not in operation at the time of this photo, it is still possible to take a ride in a mule drawn barge on the Delaware Canal in New Hope.
The Bucks County Playhouse is known far and wide for having great plays and entertainment. Celebrated actors and artisan from around the world demonstrated their skills here at the Bucks County Playhouse.
Of course shopping is the main attraction in New Hope, but just taking a stroll around town is a great way to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Some people come to New Hope just to get a ice cream cone, or at least that's a good excuse.
New Hope has always been a prime destination for motorcycle riders.
You can't get to Hooterville from here, but if you just want to take a relaxing ride through scenic Bucks County on an old time steam engine then head to the train station and jump on board.
Everybody likes a box seat at the ball game, but at a box seat in New Hope the food and drinks are better and the scenery is always changing.
Whether you just want to relax outside and enjoy a good meal, a few cocktails, and take in the sights, or if you want to do some serious shopping New Hope is a great place to spend an afternoon. Below, a friendly shopkeeper is just waiting to show you some of things you can only buy in New Hope.
