Undoubtedly the most well known town in Bucks County is New Hope. Perched on the Banks of the Delaware River, in central Bucks County, New Hope has long been known as an artist colony, and weekend destination for thousands of visitors from all over the country. Main Street is lined with a broad range of eclectic shops and eateries, some featuring outdoor seating for food and spirits.  There is always a festive atmosphere in New Hope, and many people come just to walk around town and enjoy the sights. But whether you come for the excellent shows at the Bucks County Playhouse or just to people watch, New Hope is always entertaining.
