These pictures were sent to us by an old Morrisville resident Bill Mohr now living in Albuquerque. Thank you Bill these pictures are a really great addition to the Photo Vault.

A little background. My father and three sisters grew up on East Hendrickson Ave. Only the youngest sister Kathrine Mohr was born in Morrisvlle. Lillian Mohr Edwards, Francis Mohr & Florence Mohr Bloor were born in Philadelphia. The family moved to Hendrickson Ave. Lillian, Francis & Kathrina lived on East Hendrickson Ave. until they passed away. After my mom & dad married in the late '30s he lived on my mothers farm in Penns Manor where me and my two sisters were born. As you know those farms were destroyed to build the Fairless Steel plant in the early '50s. Dad moved back to East Hendrickson. A little background on my mother Dorothy Robinson Mohr. Mom was the private secretary of Willard S. Curtin, congressman. She managed his affairs in Morrisville. This first photo was taken on East Hendrickson Ave. 1917. The Mohr family father William, son Francis mother Sadie, baby sister Katheine, sister Florence in back seat.
Dad's first NEW car. Southwest end of East Hendrickson Ave 1927.
This is my dad Francis Mohr on East Hendrickson Ave. Decoration Day, early '20s
This photo is the early 20's guessing by the age the boys look. Francis Mohr riding Millard Nice on his sholders. Millard Nice was known by many Morrisville residents, became a mailman.
1921 Basketball team. I can only identify my aunt, Lillian Mohr Edwards, 4th from the right.
This photo is a real treasure. My aunt Kathrine Mohr's 3rd grade class with all the names written on the back. She was born in 1916 so I'm guessing this is 1924/25. She is the 8th mane on the list, far right top row. Not too many people will remember her. However the 17th name on the list, the boy on the far right second row down is Earl Wood. Earl Wood was Assistant Principal of MHS when I graduated in 1961. Did he become principal later?
Additional note by Todd White. I remember the high school principal as James E. Wood. I guess his middle name was Earl.
These last three pictures are of the train wreck in Morrisville.
