These pictures of the Olympic torch coming through Morrisville were sent to us by Morrisville resident Barbara Klepadlo Runner. Twenty years ago Barbara had the foresight to grab her camera and take these pictures, and we're glad she did. Thank you Barbara for sharing these pictures with us all.
The torch, carried by Jack Lawler, comes across the "Trenton Makes" bridge into Morrisville.
In May of 1984 the Olympic Torch passed through Morrisville on its way to the Olympics, in Los Angeles. The torch also came through Morrisville in the mid 90's, but we don't have any pictures of that.
