The gentle roll of Hilltown Township in western Bucks County is still mainly farm and pasture land. However as with elsewhere, development is not far off. But it is still possible today when riding down a country road in Hilltown to take in a panoramic vista of farms, fields and small towns such as Blooming Glen. Even though Hilltown Township doesn't have the slope to the land of its eastern neighbors it is possible, with the right vantage point to see from Haycock Mountain to Doylestown.
